Hi, fifth grade families! You have come to the right place to get the most up to date information on the 5th Grade Committee plans for the end of year festivities! We will update here with times and extra details as they are decided, but we wanted to give you an overview of what the rest of the year will look like. Also, please make sure that your fifth grader completes and uploads Square 1 Art, since those will be ordered as tiles for the cafeteria.

Saturday, March 6th at 11am: Bach 2 Rock Virtual Music Party

Bach to Rock is throwing a 30-minute virtual music party for Harris Hill’s 5th Grade Class. One of Bach to Rock’s expert Music Instructors will host the party with lots of fun music activities. Bring your own favorite instrument or make one from household stuff! Sing, Dance, and have FUN at home with your classmates!
Activities will include:
- pass the rhythm
- parody – replacing words in a song
- writing lyrics to an original song
- identifying parts of a song
- percussion at home
Bach to Rock is currently offering many of its popular music lessons, classes, and programs in a live, e-learning format. Lessons are available to all students who have access to a device capable of video communication and an instrument with which to practice at their place of residence. You will get all the same features and benefits of B2R, including our curriculum, access to the MyB2R student tracking portal and the wealth of knowledge and experience our instructors have to offer.

Thursday, April 29th at 4pm: Cooking Class with Devon Ferguson
Sign in for a live cooking class where you’ll prepare dinner for your family! We’ll be providing a list of ingredients to gather ahead of time, but you should be able to accomplish most of the cooking yourself in this fun cooking class led by an awesome chef!

Friday, May 21th at 7:00pm: Kahoot Trivia Night (schedule change from May 14th)
You know Kahoot already, so you’ll love this opportunity to log on with all of your classmates to participate in a fun Trivia Night! Questions will come quickly and so will the fun!
